It's that time again: my Toyota Corolla needs an oil change.
I used to go to one of two places in Massachusetts: Quik Lube or Valvoline. I tried Jiffy Lube a couple of times but stopped going becuase I felt their sales tactics were too aggressive the few times I went.
I've decided on Midas. I'm familiar with the brand but have actually never tried them, plus I found a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation for $19.99.
However, I have to remember to tell them not to check the air filter. One of the times I went to Jiffy Lube, they messed up my glove compartment checking for the air filter.
UPDATE: I went to Midas on Cheltenham Road a was totally satisfied. The service was polite and professional. I have a feeling that their service could get expensive, though. Their hourly labor is more expensive than I'm used to, almost $100 / hour, compared to the $80 / hour I paid at the local garage near where I lived in Massachusetts.
